Lost Subway Ticket form Straffkö
Inkjet print on paper. 5,4 x 8 cm
2009

The piece consists of a subway ticket of an imaginary city. It is designed taking into account the visual and linguistic codes of real tickets, but neither the graphics nor the language really exist, attending to Noam Chomsky's sentence "Colorless green ideas sleep furiously", which shows how a meaningless sentence can seem to be understandable just by the right use of grammar. It works as a fiction of a whole city contained in a small piece of paper, like the proof of the existence of a parallel world from a science fiction novel.
