It is elaborated with the little information one can find on the Internet about a performance realised by Serbian artist Tomislav Gotovac in 1962 in which, half naked in a snowed forest, he smiles whilst being photographed showing various pages of the Elle Magazine. The piece consists of a partial remake of Gotovac's performance emphasising the way the original arrives to us in the form of a story. Instead of reproducing it with fidelity it sets up the pertinence of its actualisation in a very different historical and political context, halfway between a homage to and a betrayal of the original.
Each time the piece is installed the picture is projected on a different surface.
